I had it done thinking I wouldn’t need mascara but it really is for those with light lashes.

Maybe things are different now, it has been a while since I tried it.

I guess I’m more curious about the “lift” part...

I once had my eyelashes dyed. They were a little darker but mascara also makes them longer and fuller. That doesn't happen with dye. I don't know what the lift does.

The lift sounds like too much maintenance to me...brushing the lashes every morning and night and adding serum or moisturizer...but I have no personal experience. I did dye my lashes one time when I was going to a beach resort destination wedding. My lashes are dark, but lighter at the tip, so the dye did make them a bit more prominent without mascara, but it wore off so quickly that I didn't think it was worth the time and expense.

I have standard brunette eyelashes, and the tint, along with using Latisse, makes enough difference that I don't feel like I need mascara.

You're probably right, but the lash tint only costs me $20, and it's $80 for tint+ lift. Plus the lift takes a lot longer. Lying there with my eyes closed for 10 minutes is just about the limit of my tolerance. 😄

I haven't had my lashes tinted since February, and doubt I'll have it done again for at least the next 9 months. In the meantime, when I want to feel pretty I put on a light coat of mascara.

Yes, and I loved it. I will do it again, especially if we ever start to travel. My DD also gets it done periodically. She’s a nurse practitioner and doesn’t wear makeup to work but likes to have ‘eyelashes’. She calls it a ‘lift and tint’, and a good friend does it in her salon.

I loved having it done before going on a 2-week vacation in Ireland and didn’t have to worry about mascara. The process also curls your lashes a bit as well as tints the lashes. I use Latisse too, so it made my lashes look extra full and thick.

DD #2 had great results with tint/lift, but I did not. We used the same technician too.

I get my lashes dyed and it works pretty well. No lift. My eyes are sensitive so I don't want to tempt fate by doing too much. I had it done last week for the first time since March and it made me happy.

I love mascara but I can't find one that doesn't flake into my eyes or run all over my upper cheeks. My lashes are long but pale on the ends so the dye makes them pop. I'd say it lasts a month or so.

I had to look up lash lift. What the heck!? LOL. I started using RevitaLash in May. Love it. The brow product, no so much. DD1 has her eyebrows done professionally, and her gal said NeuBrow. I was able to grow eyebrows in my chickenpox scar.

Deegw, mine are dark but light on the ends also.

Well, I’ve decided not to do it. I am going to mask up, hold my breath, and get my brows done for the first time since Feb., though. And maybe I’ll spend the lash money on Revitalash!

Never heard of it! Iim pretty low maintenance though and don’t even have my brows done. Just a few strays here. I’m going to ck in the Neubrow as I have a little scar in one eyebrow. I have very dark brows and lashes.

I'm going to be an enabler :) Try the tint. It's quick and cheap. My person lets the tint set while she does my brows so it doesn't add too much time to the visit.

I’m sure everyone knows this, but just a reminder to use prostaglandin free lash products. Otherwise you may deal with some side effects.
