I could not resist it. So I bought another Optimara.
Comments (26)Hi Diane, Degas is sort of a light cranberry shade of dark pink. The Optimara description calls it red but their descriptions are basic, generalized, not detailed. The same florist also had Gaugin. Very pretty but had a thrips. It is from a local Calif grower. I emailed Optimara that violets here from 3 local growers have thrips. I ordered a leaf set of Ingrid, one of the new varieties on their website. Jo This post was edited by fortyseven on Wed, Mar 5, 14 at 23:38...See MoreIt's sick, I'm tellin' ya, it's SICK!!!
Comments (16)In my defense, I did leave plants with eggs and cats there. At least one of the women there knew what they were, so I knew they wouldn't be moidered ;) Shannon00: It's called Bowood Farms, and it's off of Olive close to where it intersects with Washington. Really nice, clean, and attractive place. All of their plants look great, especially impressive at this time of year. They are a bit pricey on some things, but I was fine with $2.95 for 4" pots of good looking stock. I have paid that for the little 2" pots in the past. (some of the parsley was a bit leggy, but the rest was ok, and as mentioned, the fennel was *really* nice.) I am wondering if all of my current chrysalids and eggs/cats will go into diapause. It seems early for them to do that, but I was certain some would eclose last week, and they're still sittin' tight. Comments (20)Dyson is a freind to pet owners everywhere. I had never considered spending that kind of money on a vacuum until the members of the rottweiler forum started singing the praises of it. Now rotties may be short haired but they have a thick, felt like undercoat which they shed all year long. Except for spring & fall when they BLOW their entire coat! No lie, it's like the fur explodes off of their body, you pet them & come away with a tumbleweed of fur stuck to your palm. We managed to kill 3 vacuums in 10 years of marriage but have had the Dyson for nearly 2 years (the bare bones yellow one) and LOVE it! No clogged filters, no stench of burning dust. The beater brush needs an occasional hair removal but I'm amazed at how well this vacuum cleans. Meskauskas, I believe that they've addressed the takei it apart & flip it part but I agree with you about those two things, they annoy me. Other than that I find the vacuum very user friendly, I was able to figure out how to get it apart to empty the dust catcher without having to resort to the owner's manual. I love my dyson to the point that I'm seriously considering getting a second one to keep upstairs for when there's a second storey on the house. Nina...See MoreHmm think I bought a sick one
Comments (8)It looks a bit overwatered, as commonly happens in places like Lowe's and Home Depot. Pull it out of the soil, let it dry, and repot it when the new soil mix arrives. After repotting, don't water it for a while in order for it to get accustomed to its new soil. If the coloration of the stem doesn't improve, snip at a place where it's still firm and healthy, and replant the cutting. Firstly, let the cutting dry out for a few days....See MoreVillain Rose (Zone 11 Qld Australia.)
