Most Comfy Adirondack Chair - your fave?
Comments (20)uh oh, you shouldnt have asked KK whats under the lawn. if she tells ya shes got to kill ya! I love your lawn and patio too! For you El Cheapos out there like me- the plastic adirondack chairs are comfy too, and light weight to move. Ours are in the grass so they need to be moved every week. We have the dark green ones and they are fairly fade resistant and sturdy. Easy to hose off the bird poop too. I bring out cushions some times if I feel like it. I don't find the slanted foot rests comfy, I prefer the flat topped foot rests ones. Just another option....See MoreFixtures, molding & doorknobs, oh my! Fave and least fave decisions?!
Comments (13)The floors had 14-ft, 12-ft, 10-ft, 8-ft ceilings. The first floor had 15" base and very heavy elaborate cornices, the second had 12" base and simpler cornices, the third 10" base and even plainer cornices, the fourth 6" base and no cornices. The doors on floor one were surrounded by pilasters and Ionic capitals and a big overdoor, on the second floor simpler Ionic or Doric pilasters and a simpler overdoor, the third had fluted millwork with big corner blocks, the fourth plainer millwork with little corner blocks. Are you sure you can't salvage the plaster cornices at all? I went through a lot of effort to repair and reproduce/replace missing sections of mine. Once it's gone it's gone forever. Even if if you have to take the walls and ceilings down to the studs and joists you can cut along the edge of the cornices and keep them in place....See MoreKraus is my new fave!
Comments (1)I’m happy with my Kraus sink too. It’s great when a company not only stands behind their products, but goes above and beyond....See Moreworkstation sink - what is your fave cutting board?
Comments (0)I'm so excited about the custom fabricated stainless counter top and workstation sink being made for my island. DH is an amazing cook and i'm ever grateful. Hoping to surprise him with a lovely board, although i worry it wont meet his specific preference. I'm curious for those chef's out there, what is you favorite cutting board for workstation sink? I'm happy to pay for a custom size as it will get use daily. (note: we use / actually cook in our kitchen. i don't care what it looks like if it isn't functional)...See MoreMaplesthebest
