Full StoryI have some Sunpatiens in a fixed deck ledge container and we dropped in temps Thursday night to 38 degrees.
I was hoping that covering them would work, but it didn't and I knew it might not.
It now has top partial defoliation and looks like cooked spinach. The bottom half is good.
I realize it's inevitable that it will die soon, but my question is, is it savable for another few weeks? I read the defoliation shouldn't be cut back.
Or is it time for it to go?
What would you do?
