Need help with range hood

Peter (6b SE NY)

We are redoing some of our kitchen, took down an old wall mounted microwave and cabinet above the stove that were falling off the wall. We want to replace with a simple vent hood.

Unfortunately, our ductwork exits out the wall (4" duct), and our ceilings are low. We bought a wall mount range hood, but the duct exit point was too high to connect to the wall duct.

I know they come in narrow configurations, the undercabinet ones are, but we don't want to install another cabinet there, just have the hood and chimney. I can't seem to find one that would fit our space. Does anyone know what I should be looking for? Should I buy an undercabinet one and a separate chimney kit or something? Or am I just out of luck unless we install a roof vent?
