Is a pullout garbage under a stove top dangerous?

We recently moved into a home that doesn’t have a designated cabinet for a pullout garbage. (The prior owners had a stand alone garbage in the pantry, which I don’t love).

The “best option” seems to be a tall cabinet in the island under where the induction stovetop is. It’s close to the sink and dishwasher and a large enough opening.

The sink is a deep farmhouse sink so the cabinets under the sink aren’t tall enough for a garbage and we have a dishwasher on both sides of the sink - which I love having two dishwashers but is making this placement a bit challenging!

Does it get too hot under an induction stove top? Is this a fire hazard? I realized in thinking about this I have cleaning products and chemicals under there now which may also not be safe!

Thanks for any advice or thoughts on this!
