When you're at a road course racetrack you learn the sounds the cars make as they run the course. You can hear when they're in turn one, accelerating up a hill, rounding the chicane, should be by your position in .... So this pic reminds me of far and away sounds as well as sights.

Jasdip, you can get cat claw tips from Chewy or Amazon. They glue on, but you'll need someone to hold Elliot, but they stay on quite a long time. The tips stopped our cat, and we re-applied them a time or two but didn't have to do it after that and she forgot about shredding the sofa. Or there's double-sided tape you can put on your upholstered furniture too. Trying to thin out the photo collection (it's so hard), and I found this one of my mother's best friend.
