• Fargo started again last week with 2 episodes. Comes on FX. I've enjoyed previous seasons but not sure about this one yet. I did think Chris Rock was good in it. Another series I liked was The White Queen, then The White Princess, and then The Spanish Queen. It starts again I think next week on Starz. If you think you might be interested be sure to start with the White Queen.

recorded SNL last night and I’m watching that. (not so funny tonight though)

We watched a fun series called Episodes with Matt LeBlanc playing himself.

Schitts Creek. Rewatching some of it to refresh before going to the last season...waaahhhh!!!

I also watched the movie The Martian (from 2015) again last week.

Schitts Creek is so funny! I see they just released season 6.

Kind of like you...jumped around....Watched part of "Shawshank" (seen it many,

many times...still catch it once in awhile). Watched "Good Will Hunting"..loved

it...thought I had seen it, but never all the way through, I guess. Watched

a real dud on PBS last night "Flesh and Blood"...mean, nasty and so darn

depressing...won't watch the last couple of episodes. BTW...I love "The

Lake House"...one of my all time favorites. But, anything Keanu..is good

by me.

We enjoyed "Dickensian" and wished it had been renewed. Try these 30-minute taped stage shows for a guaranteed laugh: "The Goes WRONG Show". We're waiting and waiting for Season 7 of "Spiral" (French cops/justice system). I'd recommend "Motherless Brooklyn" (somewhat artsy mystery involving NYC's relentless builder Robert Moses). We saw it on a DVD from our library.

I am a devoted fan on youtube of Chateau Diaries. This is a vlog made by an Englishwoman who bought a chateau 15 years ago with her parents. She renovates with the help of friends and people on a work program but it is not a makeover show. This is not a reality show of TV ilk. This is not about consumerism and wealth. It's about history and keeping beauty in our everyday lives. No preaching just doing. Quite a few chateaus in France have been bough by English people and there are several other good vlogs but this is the lynchpin. I started by chance somewhere in the middle of the series that continues weekly. Then I went back and watched chronologically. The skills of the vlogger, Stephanie Jarvis, have vastly improved since the first videos. There are no nasty comments and it is a world of light.

Sammy....one of my old TV stations was showing a marathon of all the Rockys

this week-end. I had forgotten how young he looked in the very first one (still

my favorite). :)

I rarely watch any regular TV other than PBS. But I do have several streaming services and I am in the middle of watching a re-release of All Creatures Great and Small on Britbox. And I got a free trial month of Amazon Prime and have been binging on Bosch, Endeavor and Silent Witness and eager to start The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel before my month runs out!

I also recently sought relief from our current disastrous political climate by watching all of the West Wing....again :-)

And I did watch PBS last night and quite liked Flesh and Blood. I love Francesca Annis and British dramas do tend to be be pretty gritty and often dark. And they are rebroadcasting Escape to the Chateau, which is an absolute joy to watch!

I also admit to watching a couple of Tyler Perry's Medea Halloween themed movies - they crack me up!!

Garden Gal...I am chuckling about you liking Flesh and Blood. My DD and I

watched it together, and our greatest wish is that ALL of the family are in

the Body Bag, and the police come back and shoot the neighbor. LOL It

does make one thankful for a normal family, though. Endeavor has always

been a favorite of ours ,too. and has been on our PBS. There was a marathon of Escape to the Chateau, so didn't see them all...but did watch a couple.

Liked Mrs. Maisel on Amazon Prime. Have you watched "Unbelievable" with

Kaitlyn Dever (from Tim Allen's Sitcom) ? Powerful story...think you can get

it with Prime, too.

Yeah, that neighbor lady is a piece of work!! And her son is a bit of an a-hole as well. Have only seen the first episode so waiting see how things develop :-)
