Comments (8)There is no need to match the color of the landscaping to your house :-) Plants go with any color house! And avoid any dyed or brightly colored mulches - they can be harmful and they look glaringly artificial!! Pick a mulch with a natural color and let age to whatever color it wants. Mulch should never be a focal point in a garden and ideally, should not be seen much at all once the plantings mature....See MoreBest window color for a red brick house
Comments (10)If you are keeping the beige or tan trim, then I think Sandtone is a good choice for the windows. It doesn't look like shutters will work on this house given the style of the windows, and there isn't enough room for them anyway....See MoreWindow Color for Pinkish-Orange Brick House
Comments (25)I like the darker tones here are two similar brick ranch homes w/some mcolor options. the first one looks good w/the copper/bronze tones. You really need to update that front door to something more MCM-like. perfect door style for you notice the path pavers and flower beds I also agree about landscaping. that alone would be 50% of the curb appeal. you ahve a large expanse of grass with nothing happening. but in a path, some hardscaper, a berm w/trees/rocks/flowers, update the flower beds. Maybe extend a porch over to the left. I love this yard. look at the path and the surrounding flower beds this is the type of door you need. bring in some warmer wood accents like an address plaque dark garage door. notice the paved path through the grass ignore the house, just imagine this landscaping on your place. litting sitting area you could off to the left. poor photo shop, but gives you an idea. look at the vintage mcm door w/atomic star door knob! don't forget some numbers in a modern style for the brick you can paint the downspouts the darker color...See MoreAnna (6B/7A in MD)
