Painting trim white, now not sure on wall color!

Hi all! I’m currently in the laborious process of painting all of our dated wood trim white. The one place I liked the trim and debated keeping was the office, but we have such an open floor plan I couldn’t find a good transition spot to do half white half wood so now I’ve decided to paint the office trim white too and match the house. Now that I’m looking at the white with the green walls, I don’t love it. What do you think? Should I repaint the walls? If so any suggestions? I. was thinking maybe a dark charcoal gray? The room it is open to (great room) is amazing gray by sherwin Williams. Most of our main floor is amazing gray, except the dining room is smokey blue by SW and powder room is a different dark gray. Would ANOTHER dark gray in the office be too much? I don’t want to get into a 50 shades situation! Thanks in advance for your advice!!

PS- ignore the mess
