What's for Dinner ... Friday?
Comments (17)Jasdip: Homemade meat sauce. You can send me some. And pineapple for dessert would hit the spot. Monica: I can just picture your table tonight. It's holding some good stuff with salmon and such good sides. Ahhh, then topped off with a homemade banana cake!! Deeby: I don't get to eat at Taco Bell often. I get the Beef Gordita without the sour cream. Matti: Enjoy your big salad. Is the tart to be dessert? Jim: Your soup sounds inviting. And just think how you'll enjoy your garden supplies in the winter time. Laura: Ah, shoot. That's tough to fix foods for others when you can't eat it. Could you have the soup over mashed potatoes? Ellendi: I've never had a vegetable burger. Don't you just love this time of year when you can get fresh vegetables? Rhizo: Fish and excellent side dishes (esp quinoa) makes a well balanced and healthy meal. Pam: Homemade pizza brings back memories of when my grandkids would spend the night. We'd also make bread sticks. Shirley...See MoreWhat's for Dinner ... Tuesday?
Comments (18)Sue: I'll bet those fresh from the garden radishes are good. I like grilled cheese and like to pair it up with tomato soup. Georgysmom: That meal would be quick, easy, AND good. Susanfj: I wish I could find that kind of fish stick around here. I have way too many clocks and hate all power outages. Jasdip: Still hot/muggy here in Ohio. Glad you're getting a break. What a good idea with the oil and garlic. Just the right touch to your meal tonight. Do you start with cooked rice? Old Fixer: Mmm... One main dish (one of my favorites) and 1, 2, 3 desserts. You sound like an uncle of mine. Glenda: Good for you, for having repeats today. Alice: Just make my dog plain and without a bun. If you've been out and about, you need an easy meal. Angelaid: Easy meal and husband likes it. That goes a long way in my book. Party: A great meal for a hot day. Do you mean you make your own ricotta? 3 cheers for you. Comments (11)Glenda: Glad you got another special time in with your grandson. I've had loaded baked potato, but not a BBQ one. What you had sounded very good except for the extra sweet beans...I don't like them like that either. Jasdip: Sounds easy and good. Glad you found just the right ham. Your house will smell oooh so good on Sunday. Old Fixer: Your meal sounds like a winner to me. Especially the ice cream dessert. Jim: I'll have my pork chop with beets...sounds sooo good. Caroline: Wow, that's a huge cabbage. This is funny as I want to cook bacon in oven tomorrow. Care to share how you do it? I've never tried Bubble and Squeak, but would like to someday. Kittiemom: Pizza and you didn't have to lift a finger. Good. Raven: I'd have to pick off the olives, but I'd like a big piece of this dish. Shirley...See MoreWhat's for Dinner ... Friday?
Comments (21)Ravencajun: I've already done a copy/paste of the recipe. How did it turn out? Rhizo: Your soup sounds so very good. I had the last of my beef barley from the freezer for my lunch today. Kathsgrdn: I'll have to add meatloaf to my foods for next week. One of my favorite foods. Nicole: I had to look up that casserole. Sounds like a good one. I'd like to try a taste sometime. Socks: I made some salmon patties today to put in my refrigerator today. I like your sides too. Georgysmom: I want to come to your house and sneak soups out of your freezer. Love the way you got DH to eat white chili. Old Fixer: Add some cheese to my ham sandwich. I'd forgotten about Chicken Ala King. Will have to make some soon. Pam: Pizza often just fills the bill. I hope you and your sister enjoy your time together tomorrow. Jasdip: I do NOT like snowy/icy/slippery roads at all. For a lot of the years I worked, I not only got snow tires, but had them studded. Leftovers are just great, aren't they? Sue: I don't get to do it often but I really like to go to a restaurant that has a breakfast bar. Once in a while, I get to go to Shoney's. No wonder you weren't hungry later on. Mamatoad: A little 'heat' goes a long way. I've never had turnips or the greens. Wish I knew someone who makes them so I could get a taste. Bob: If I had the lobster cakes, that's all I'd need. I'd try the asian noodles just to see what they're like. Shirley...See MoreLoneJack Zn 6a, KC
