Log Home remodel flooring ideas

We are remodeling our 1978 Log house. We have ordered white cabinets, stainless steel appliances and a more modern farmhouse sink. We just installed a new hearth for a more efficient wood stove. I'm considering painting the planks in the ceiling white, but leaving the beams. If I do this, should I consider painting the window trim white too just to tone down the wood more. We would leave the doors and door trim wood. What would you all suggest for the floors? I was thinking red oak but now we are thinking, if the ceilings will be white, maybe we could go a bit darker on the floors. Also, I'm not certain about adding more orange into the rooms, maybe go with a gray wood floor? But not sure gray works with the orange? Or not wood at all and go for something else? But we want to keep the cozy cabin feel, just lighten things up and tone down the wood/orange. The rooms on the first floor all open into each other, so what we do in one, we would probably do in them all. Thanks for advice!!!
