I am going to paint every room in our house. I'm having so much trouble choosing a paint color for the kitchen/living room/dining room. (I feel like they have to be the same color due to the open concept) I feel like the current color on the walls in these rooms make everything look so dark. I really love the greige colors but they look best with white trim and mine are oak. Should I paint the oak trim white? Every paint sample I have tried comes out looking blue (i assume the current paint on the walls has a lot to do with it) but the counter tops in the kitchen are light blue and the stone on the fireplace in the living room has kind of a blueish tint to it. The samples I've tried all have a brown undertone so I'm lost! Please let me know what you think!
