Need to choose 2 paint colors NOW...please help
Comments (3)I guess your post yesterday didn’t turn out any paint colors. You posted no pictures yesterday, so I understand why responses were vague, although good ones. You bedroom/bath is pretty blah…I see no accent color at all. Paint the wall a rich gray blue…and the vanity white. The mirrors …they just doesn’t make it with the white window next to it…in the same shape... Replace with two different mirrors. Normally, you have the same mirror over each sink, but you can’t do that. Something simple, oval, the finish of the faucet. If you really need that other mirror choose something out of the ordinary, If you din’t need a mirror a great canvas would brighten the space up....See MoreNeed help choosing a BM off-white paint for a walk-in closet
Comments (9)what kind of bulbs do you have in there? they look on the lower temperature or 'yellow' end. You may want to replace the lighting, or at least the bulbs to something in a 4000K temp. what color is currently there? it already looks like an off-white. I like using the white straight out of the can with no tint added. it's the perfect white. You could always try that in your closet. with your lighting, it will take on a warmer hue anyway. And, if you don't like it, take it back and have your tint added to it for another color. free. I've never heard of Simply White having a green cast. it's one of the most neutrals whites. Chantilly has a blue/green cast. does it have to be white? why not a color? I'd also paint the wood trim in there a glossy white. it will help w/the freshen-up. Alabaster is a warmer white. pale oak is the perfect neutral and works with everything. (you could do that for the wall and the Alabaster for that wood trim)...See MorePlease help with choosing a white exterior paint
Comments (23)So none of those shutters belong on those windows and your realtor needs to give their head a shake if they think painting brick is a good idea. Remove that huge tree that is hiding the house , wash the brick and leave it alone IMO painting brick is the best way to instantly devalue your home. If you have a pet buried where the cross is at least remove the cross a bit of a turn off IMO. Fill those planters to overflowing with really colorful plants and plant some stuff with color for the rest of the landscaping that IMO will sell the house better than painting the brick...See MoreNeed help with choosing a white paint.
Comments (2)There isn't a paint can left in the garage or cellar for you to match? I don't think you will be happy trying to match the white. You can fudge it on the ceiling, by doing the best you can with swatches and painting your choice on the ceiling in flat finish. I know that will work. As for the built-ins, which aren't built-ins, why not paint them Agreeable Gray in a semi-gloss finish. The difference in sheen will be very attractive. You could paint the backs of the cabinets a coordinate color. With the cabs painted, I think the mantel needs to be painted, something in the same family, but much darker....See MoreGarden Mist
