We feed the many feral cats in our neighborhood. This is a mama and baby. Mama's name is Hansel (we thought she was a he). Mama was a baby last summer and did not become friendly with us in time to prevent her pregnancy. She has a calico litter mate. Each of them had a litter of 4 this summer. Only one baby between them remains. I want to believe that they have been taken in by neighbors, but that's probably not the reality. I want to save them all, but I can't. We have five former ferals indoors now and I think that's our limit. The best we can do is try to make friends of them and have them spayed or neutered.

I've been killing myself on home repairs that have gone too long without fixing. I hurt so much, last night I dreamed that I ripped my muscle off of my leg bone??? Looked weird and really not right.

Enough! I decided I'm relaxing today and tomorrow. There's far more than I can have in two days, but it won't go bad. Rum punch and margarita.
