Beverage/wine fridge? Drawers?
Comments (1)I love my elux drawers. It is perfect for entertaining-keeps the traffic out of the kitchen/food prep area--but until the company comes, you can keep all the extra produce that you need for the party. We don't drink fancy wines and I'd go stark raving nuts if I had to chill reds to a particular temp and whites also I love the elux drawers and they were the big splurge-costing abt. $2k. My regular fridge was about $1500 and I am perfectly happy with it. Drawers are great for kids' stuff, too. Lunches, yogurts, fruits, treats,-if you want your kids to get their own stuff, it's easy. I probably didn't want my kids, at young ages, to get their own stuff. It keeps dh's cokes chilled and now they don't take up room in the main fridge-and he's not in my way. People always get in my way when they want something out of the fridge but not in the drawers. Elux advertises it as 6 cubic feet. It is roomy, very....See MoreFinally Finished Pic- Warm wood and Cool Cream Galley Kitchen
Comments (52)CKGM Wow - you must have thought I abandoned you! I was so busy at work(73 hours that week and I am salary :-( and didn't have access except via phone (I did have a mini comment above) I looked on my phone but somehow missed getting back to you on this lovely and inspirational kitchen. Loving it - I love your backsplash choice and grout now match very nicely with your counter. Your galley is going to be very functional - and you managed to build in a feature that I could not pull off - the little bar at the end of the kitchen with 2 stools. I am only allowing a few items on the counter - DH gets his coffee machine and grinder. We share the paper towels, and I have the banana holder and fruit/veggie double basket - unless I can find a better place for it - the pantry is too warm as the pipes go through the wall. When I finally post my pictures - we have more in common that just Grazia tile - we also have a garden window!! What is your wall color - it looks similar to ours!! And as you know, I am finally out of the ABB club!! A bit of a hijack Fun2learn - there are several places on the east coast that carry the Grazia tile - I did find it at Malsnee Tile near Reading PA (might have a Leesport address but essentially Reading) - Best Tile has numerous shops in the east coast but turned out to be cheaper to ship from Tile-Shop.com in California than from the East coast. I worked out a plan to have it delivered to the cabinet store, so shipping was much less.- I worked with Nelson (not TileShop.com) Nelson Chow Tileshop, Inc. 510-525-4312 Here is the info on Best Tile Laura Breindel Showroom Manager Best Tile Syracuse 315-437-1606 ext. 211 And Malsnee Tlle information- I worked with Rebecca and Jessica 1106 Stinson Drive Leesport, PA 19533 (610) 916-7621...See MoreBeverage Fridge Reccomendations for Wine and Water Bottles?
Comments (0)I have kitchen plans for a 24"built in under counter Bev Fridge. I have tripled my appliance allowance and realize subzero probably is a good choice but trying to stay closer to $1,000 with builder price discount. Uline has one that does both and looks nice enough, but the shelves for the water bottles don't roll out for easy access and loading. Will mainly use it for water bottles/flavored water bottles so it needs to be taller than just cans. I also don't want it to be too loud. Prefer the stainless look with the wood edge wine shelf. Any other options out there?...See MoreAny Regrets Switching From Regular-Depth to Counter-Depth Fridge?
Comments (49)We're a family of five. We eat lots of produce and I cook at least once a day. I bought a CD Electrolux all fridge a few years ago and don't regret it. The one thing it doesn't fit well is a box of those huge 16" take-and-bake pizzas. I have to remove them from the box or clear a shelf that doesn't have a door shelf across from it when closed. My produce may overflow the available space in my drawer for a day or two, but that's not really an issue. I really love that it doesn't intrude on my aisle because the fridge location in this house is stupid. FWIW, my fancy Gaggenau oven doesn't fit those pizzas, either. I have to cut them in half. I wouldn't trade my oven for one that did. It's my precious....See Moremama goose_gw zn6OH
