Help! Distressed white tile with bright white walls

I unfortunately chose tiles for the fireplace that came much darker than anticipated and I don’t love how it looks next to the beautiful bright white we went with for the walls. the tile has already been set, and I’m wondering how to best salvage the room and tie it together.. it seems like a mismatch of rustic with bright white, and I’m wondering if the sofa or furniture can help pull it together. The tile actually looks a bit dirty next to the white walls, which is a major bummer. Any magic tricks someone can offer to pull it together? I am thinking a blue grey sofa and ochre pillows for the window seat, rather than the original mostly white color scheme I was going for. thanks for your help 🙏🏼

Start with a rug that features white, but includes the colors of the tile. Now the rug and tile are your features. Solid leather sofa, any color but blue/white/offwhite. I like this saddle color with the tile and the rug.

Also we do have super bright white lights in there already and it still looks creamish and not pure white. And yes the lighting and everything is the same, the only difference is the bathroom has new texture. There has GOT to be a way to get the bright white paint to turn out bright white!??! SOMEONE must have an answer?!!!

You're right about the dinginess of the tub with this tile. On my screen at least. Some white tubs aren't really "white". (I've read this about American Standard toilets, for example.) millworkman's observation is a lot more important than any colour discrepancies though. You'll want to suss that out before worrying about the tile choice.

Your bathroom looks great. Does the photo distort how large the space is, or is it that lengthy? It is helpful to compare space that is similar in size to mine, and I know some photos are not totally representative of the real size. my bathroom is pretty small --maybe 5 x 8.
