Comments (17)I think pic #1 lower right is stained glass, possibly agree on night before Christmas. Check that the green edges go all the way down the leaf to base of plant. It also can come up kind of twisty before it unfolds. Not sure about Big Daddy or ADG......the openness of your plant makes me question this. BD and ADG mature have pretty tight dense leaf mounds. Agree with others about Avocado and Holy Mole——-they are so close. Have no idea of the last one....See MoreHosta Identification help #4
Comments (11)Thanks for the quick replies! You guys/gals are so good with figuring out these NOIDs. 😊 Queen Josephine is a possibility. A pic of your friends plant before it was divided would have been really helpful. Unfortunately I doubt she took a pic. Scale wouldn't matter much with a new division. However if you could estimate the size of you friends plant, that would help. I wasn't there when this one was divided, however, I have seen all her hostas, and none were very big. So I'm guessing this one was no more than 18 inches wide, and less than that tall, but can't say for sure. All her hostas, though, are foundation plantings, and get divided when they get too big, so seeing the before pic might not have been very helpful....See Moredianefw
