Tracy, thanks for the info, it does somewhat resemble it but I think "Fit" might be a name brand rather than a variety name. But I sure could be wrong. Johnmerr, I looked up "Thomson" and it does seem to describe it, plus it's an older variety too; I think that may be it. Thanks to both for helping me, : ) !

Those paint markings are what field grown nurseries use for identifying scion and rootstock combinations. It is hard to tell from the photos the exact colors. Please list them here from top to bottom and we may be able to identify it for you. I say may because most nurseries use a standard color coding chart while some may have developed their own standards.

Need closer up pictures. Suspect magnesium for the yellow leaves. Suggest you get a goood fertilizer wit all the trace elements.

Until weather pattern changes, may not be much point in seeking remedy. Like Dax reports, so-called "anthracnose", not really a specific disease but rather, a constellation of similar-appearing leaf blights-will run rampant on susceptible species. Not sure what you've got there for a plant-a little more context in terms of stems, overall plant view, etc. might help, but in any case, not worth worrying about. These things come and go all over the place all the time, rarely amounting to much. Keep in mind, plants are well-adapted to withstand occasional foliar disturbances. It's the diseases that plug up xylem and/or phloem that really cause trouble. This ain't that. +oM
