Oh, hahaha, and the table is temporary. It’s just holding some home decor stuff I haven’t put away yet. It is funny how this house doesn’t seem to want to use the same decor items from the old house, it is like it has it’s own personality and the rooms call for something different. I am going to move the screen, maybe to the other side of the dining room table or behind the bar cart, which is just temporarily there also.

well, you've succeeded. are you satisfied with the result? I think I would move the TV to the long wall closest to the woodstove -- an electrician can easily move your cable wiring if that's the limiting issue. Then you can put the loveseat facing it on the other long wall, and the two recliners on either side, angled in. Then the space can also serve for conversation a bit, and at least one person can keep warm by the stove. You'll probably find you can then put a long console under the TV, and probably can fit side tables between each recliner and the loveseat.

In addition to taking out the fireplace, I think you mentioned in your other thread that you’re also considering reconfiguring the kitchen. If this area is pretty much a gut and there aren’t compelling reasons to keep it as arranged, you may want to consider swapping the kitchen and living areas.
