Repotting Birds Nest Fern

Hi everyone,

I picked up a little Birds Nest Fern from my local nursery a couple of weeks ago and kept it inside its nursery pot. I read that you should wait a couple of years before repotting the fern because its roots are very sensitive.

However, when I checked the bottom of the pot today, I noticed that some of the plant’s roots were poking out of the drainage holes.

Should I go ahead and switch out pots or should I just leave it be for now?

Thank you!
