Have one also (including a mini bonsai-ish one), leaves are about that size and many larger. Currently has about 10 "flowers" on it. It thrives outside during spring and early summer. Although it does tolerate the dry+hot conditions here in the Central Valley, it doesn't do well in direct sunlight when temps are above 90. During the majority of summer, it sits on my patio in full shade and still flowers, but slowly starts losing that healthy glossy, dark green look. The leaves don't grow as much/fast in that full shaded spot, but it does OK -- which is fine with me, it's already big enough and it's not a permanent spot. It also is fairly drought tolerant -- when it's low on water it wilts and can even wilt terribly but will bounce back once watered. The flowers won't thrive if that keeps happening, but I love when plants can tell you they need water after X days by wilting, but don't suffer if you water right away -- b/c then you know you can water on that schedule (a day or two sooner, of course). If it grows like crazy, it can get many times more dense than it is now. Mine did and I chose to start pruning some leaves down from the base. It slowed down the need for watering, but I pruned mostly b/c the large numerous leaves shaded out younger ones growing under/around the edges and they don't thrive. Mine is due for a complete re-pot, there is little soil as it's mostly all roots now -- I've had it two years. I had to bring it indoors during winter as it didn't tolerate the cold outdoors. Ditto with the comment about humidity indoors, the tips do start to brown. Hope it helps, your plant looks great.

That would be fine until frost, then it needs to come back inside. I don't know that I would take this Impatiens outside at this point. It's been fine for 4 years where it is, has sentimental value, and would be much more likely to catch downy mildew outside, a fatal (always/usually?) disease of I. walleriana. Snapping off the taller stems would result in more mass closer to the soil. When those are growing again (both the cut piece should continue to grow, along with new growth from the stump,) snap a few more. Doing it gradually would prevent the "bunch'a stumps" look of doing it all at once, and any risk associated with failure, though small. You could start a new pot or just make the current pot look more full. Since these plants do snap easily, repotting is difficult on one with many tall stems such as yours, I might opt for sticking cuttings in a pot of fresh soil. When a nice 2nd pot is going, a repotting attempt could be made on the mama plant without so much concern.

Oh also, that is probably two separate plants. (I can’t see the soil top but it is common for sellers to put more than one in a pot.) I like Dracaenas because they are ... well, some of them are ... more tolerant of a lower light.
