OKNA 500 vs. 800 Quote Estimate

last modified: 3 years ago

Hello window people.

Here's my Estimated Quote (via email of pictures of my current windows), they will come to the house to physically look, talk, measure if I decide to proceed.

House is in Connecticut, three miles inland of Long Island Sound (Fairfield County).

Replacement Installation.

Double Hung. Approximately 31 inches wide by 38 inches high each window.

Three windows in finished attic.

Cape Cod style house.

Windows will be all white (inside and out). No grids. Okna ThruVision Full Screens, Double Pane glass, Insulated Frame, LowE + Argon, Full Wood-Sill Repair. Exterior Trim PVC Aluminum.

Window prices alone (not including PVC Aluminum outside trim, Full ThruVision Screens, Sill Repair)...

OKNA 500 = $649 per window. ($1947)

OKNA 800 = $728 per window ($2184)

For $237 more should I opt for the 800 or is that over kill for my area since I'm not on the water?

Or is the 800 such a better performing window and a better looking window?

Thanks for your input.
