First trip to the dentist since covid...

...I now understand the $10 surcharge.

They questioned me before the appointment.

I had to wait until the waiting room was empty before I could come in.

They had me sanitize my hands.

There was a plexiglass shield between the waiting room and the receptionist.

They added doors to keep each patient room separate.

They had me sign a form about covid and its symptoms.

They had new chairs in the waiting room...all singles, all at a distance.

They had me wear goggles.

I had to gargle with an antiseptic something that was supposed to kill any covid in my mouth.

They had a UV thing in the room and they had this giant suction thing that sucked the air near my mouth as they were working on me and run it though a hepa filter.

They were fully gowned, masked gloved and face shields.

My teeth were cleaned by hand...no water blaster machine.

I felt very safe, and was glad I went.

And we all agreed that we can't wait until life can get back to normal.
