Shower ventilation

Desert Gardener

Explanation first: We've lived here 3 years; the house was built in the early 90s. The master bath shower is like a small closet, 5x5 with an 8' ceiling, and everything is tiled including the ceiling. There's a 30" wide glass door that, when closed, leaves a small gap below the lintel for airflow. The bathroom itself is large and has a ventilation fan. The register vent is above the shower ceiling, but the bathroom ceiling itself is more like 10'. This is a pretty dry climate but we have to leave the shower door open or it just stays damp in there.

We are pretty sure the grout in the floor is damaged and it's leaking into the shower pan, so it's looking like we are going to have to re-do the whole shower. What can I do for ventilation in there that won't cost a zillion dollars?
