Help with warping wood floors!!

We've recently completed a renovation of our 1930's home; adding about 700 sqft to the existing upstairs. Now we're having significant warpage of our existing wood floors, mainly on the 2nd floor. I've checked the humidity and its running about 50% downstairs, 60% upstairs, and 75% in the attic. Could the problem be due to the difference in humidity between floors? We live in New Orleans, so some high humidity is expected.

We installed spray foam in the upstairs; most walls and all roof rafters. Could that be part of the problem? I also have condensation dripping from most A/C supply vents and ductwork in the attic. I don't remember this being an issue until we finished sheetrock, but its hard to pinpoint when the problems began.

Any thoughts or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Gary
