Help Picking Accent Chair Colors For Navy Sofa!

I am planning out my living room design and I love navy sofas with gold accents. I am thinking about buying a navy sofa with gold legs seen in the picture and a glass top gold coffee table. I plan on decorating with some yellow and white/gold throw pillows as you can see in my inspiration picture. But id like to add two accent chairs and can’t decide on a color! I’ve seen some bold yellow accent chairs but I wanted to stick to something more neutral. For reference my walls are a very light gray/blue. Any suggestions on accent chair colors and do you think the legs need to be gold as well or would it be okay if they had regular brown/wooden legs? Also suggestions for rug colors would be great I still can’t decide on pattern or neutral.

IMO that sofa needs balance so IMO neutral is not it I would do a yellow chair and then a rug with some cream, yellow and blue in it I would maybe do a mustard yellow instead of too bright, but I would do white walls

You certainly can go with a neutral chair and add yellow accents. Here is one from West Elm that comes in several tones. It does come in a light grey. You might have to change the paint color of the room, depending on what you choose. Some possible pillow combos for you also.

I like the blue in the room better than the browns in the last edition of pictures. The blue cleans it up a bit more. Both chairs are pretty colors. Could you add some navy in addition to the more muted colors that you like. Or maybe a very light soft blue/turquoise grey. The TV images are adding color to the room that may be distracting my evaluation, lol.

Thank you all for your comments/suggestions. @Luciana , i like your idea of orange chairs , I will explore it for sure. @Kurlrn, i dont have budget for changing my coffee table and console table for now. I first need to find the accent chairs/console table and some more accessories to pull the room together but yeah sure coffeetable/tv console are in my long term list. Thanks. So you think the off- white color is better to go with than the blue? I plan on going and sitting in some chairs in person. I just felt like I needed a direction on color. The bamboo shades are definitely going. The entire room is a clean slate except for those three items. I plan on painting, putting in trim, updating the fireplace, etc. I wanted to get the main furniture pieces in to direct the rest of my decisions. Thanks!

If keeping the grey/blue walls I think you should try to incorporate its shade somewhat, using less vibrant gold/yellow. Your couch is the star and seems to be getting lost. You could add cream chairs to work with rug and tie everything in with art and accent cushions.

Thank you all! I am not ready to paint the walls yet so I think I will go with cream chairs and then focus on gold accents vs bright yellow
