It's been very busy at home...still here, not MIA
Comments (7)Thank you everyone! What do you want on the BBQ? Steak, pork chops, veggie burgers and beverage - beer, pop, cocktails? Yep still working and enjoying life. Thank you for sticking with me through all of this and for all of your support - it has meant the WORLD to me. You know who loves ya baby- I do! Cheers, Peggy...See MoreHere are some gifts I've been working on...
Comments (16)Robbi, love your pics - & your cross-stitch work is exquisite! Your friends are very fortunate:) I have worked w/chalkboard fabric in the past, but never thought of tic-tac-toe; what a great idea! One of the little ones I keep is autistic & obsessed w/letters. I like the size of the tic-tac-toe; it would be a great tool for him to develop his small motor skills. Writing the letters, wipe off, repeat - right up his alley! What I did w/it was kind of like placemats that had a pocket on one side (for chalk). It was a great take-along activity. Rolled up nicely for storage in the van. It's amazing to me what wonderful ideas you all come up with! There is no end to the creativity on this board!...See MoreStill some blooming here - lots of Hansons and some others
Comments (20)Thanks, everyone! Mantis, I haven't had Tina's Siren Song long enough to be able to really comment on it. I got one fan in May 2016. It is now two fans, but only one scape. I just measured, it's close to 30" tall. I love the flowers and the fact that it has my Mom's name in it, which is why I suggested it as a bonus from Curt last year. I just noticed that one of it's parents is Filled To Overflowing, interesting. My Smokey Joe has more smoke most days, but did not on Friday. I will try to take more pictures of it next year... it starts blooming later than most and by then I am not taking many pictures, plus it's in an area that I can't get to easily, even from outside the netting fence....See MoreSome of what has been blooming here
Comments (12)Julia , some really lovely blooms shown here . How do I choose ? Did it take a long time for your Double River Wye to get up to full speed? Mine seemed to take forever ., yours is lovely . DEAREST VALENTINE and FREEDOM'S TRIUMPH are my choices here . Love the intense saturated pink color . We are looking like it might rain here today and believe it or not I am wishing for rain. The sun has been so intense that any moisture we had ( and we had a lot) seems to have gone the way of the dodo bird. I know it will ruin blooms but I am willing to sacrifice a day's worth of blooms if it means we get some much needed rain . Boy, this spring I never thought I would ever say this . Hope you get some rain too ( If you need it of course) I myself have ripped out hundreds of self seeding rudibeckia . Not sure what variety but it is a tall one with hundreds of quarter sized blooms . Self seeds like a madman. Pretty but very invasive ....See Moresignet_gw(6b)
