Kitchen sink soap dispenser "hack"

I love having a soap dispenser on the kitchen sink, but the small bottle has to be filled too often and it makes a mess. Can't reach the bottle under the sink and when I poured soap into the top it spilled over. I found several "hacks" on the internet attaching a tube to the dispenser and down under sink to a jug of soap. Google "soap dispenser hack". One on YouTube put a "check valve" on the tubing to keep gravity from pulling soap back down to the jug and having to prime every time you wanted soap. I did the hack using a check valve and it works great, almost instant soap when needed. Thought others might be interested in this too.

I struggle a lot with cleaning my kitchen sink. My kitchen smells so bad every night. So I feel so disappointed when guests visit my kitchen.

We have that sink, and our fabricator drilled the holes. We got an expensive soap dispenser and have had no problems. The air switch is also a no brainer type thing, so we went totally on looks, and it was very inexpensive also. Hope everything continues to go smoothly :)

I've been using two different soap products forever. It never occurred to me to use dishwashing soap for my hands. If it's so good at dissolving grease, it might be too harsh for my hands. As for the frequency of using dishwashing soap -- that's not what's driving my decision to have dispensers. I just hate the clutter and dripping soap at the sink. Dispensers look nice and are quite convenient. I've long had one for dish soap and wouldn't go back to using a bottle.

i've seen a lot of homes where it is draped over the top of the faucet. At least this would get it away from the water supply, and down a little lower. -She does not have strong hands to wring it out, so drip dry is part of the equation.

You might check the Delta soap dispensers. I just had to replace mine and yours looks quite similar.
