air fryer/toaster oven

DD has been suggesting we get an air fryer...I need a new toaster oven and see good reviews for the Cuisinart air fry toaster oven. See link below. I like the idea of not having one more extra appliance to house if I were to buy separate a toaster oven (which do use daily) and an air fryer.

It has GREAT reviews! $149.99 /see link. I really like Cuisinart and the 3 year warranty they give with their products. Gorgeous little appliance!

I agree with Shannon_WI. Rangetop is what you want if you want it to be prominent. What you do regarding range w/ single wall oven or rangetop vs. double wall oven depends on a few things: How do you like to cook? Do you like having an oven right below your cooktop for range to oven cooking or is that not something you do often? Are your wall ovens close enough to your range that the distance carrying hot pots is not an issue? Do you want a different fuel source for your ovens? Do you want a steam oven? Not that you asked, but it might be worthwhile for you to try to find coordinating meals that work for everyone to save yourself some time in your kitchen. Of course, depending on the restrictions, it might be challenging, but there are some meal planning services that help coordinate that for you (I use cooksmarts.com).

I don't have an air fryer, but I am a vegetarian and have run across a few recipes that caught my eye and made me wish I had an air fryer to try out. I like a lot of the Love & Lemon recipes and have had good luck with most of them. Measure the outside diameter (OD) of the thread with a suitable caliper. If the caliper is metric calculate the diameter in inches. (25.4 mm/inch). Suppose the answer is 0.25 inch. Then the thread is either 1/4-20 or 1/4-28. For other diameters, look up standard American threads and get a 'coarse' and a 'fine' thread nut in the correct diameter to try. We had a Sharp convection microwave After four replacements in less than three years under warranty, we finally ditched the fifth unit after it needed a $1500.00 repair Went with a Wolf speed oven. Works great. Our appliance store works with a metal fabricator who made a custom stainless filler piece as the Wolf is about half an inch smaller in height Not cheap, but much better than dealing with constant breakdowns of the Sharp

If possible always check the manufactures page for prices if they are listed. The prices shown as suggested prices at WS are much higher than actual prices at Cuisinart. The sales prices are a slight savings.

If you get one where the door opens down e prepared for lots of crumb cleaning up. I gave my air fryer that had the slide out to my son and replaced it with a combo with slide in trays, rotisserie, rotating fry basket, skewers and almost wish I had just the air fryer back. Sometimes more is less indeed...

Williams Sonoma is a great sale at $159.99. Kohls has it also for $199. +20% off. I was worried about having it shipping and getting here in one piece. I'd probably order it through Kohls so if it's damaged there a store close by for return.

I really am pleased with my Chefmate...nice large Regular/Convection bake with air fryer on the bottom.

We have considered an Air Fryer/Convection since the beginning of pandemic but haven't moved on the purchase.

Question: How easy is it to keep clean? Or, which one is easiest to clean after each use? Thanks.

I'm considering a convection oven/air fryer purchase, too, and have the same questions as Michael. As a partially disabled person I need to keep things as easy as possible.
