Baker cabinets or other low budget cabinet
Comments (5)I used Barker cabinets (painted on site) and it was a great experience. Chad Barker is a great guy and steps up to answer questions, solve problems, and makes you feel like you are his only customer. The quality of the cabinets is excellent and the assembly is so easy. We are really happy with ours....See MoreDoes anybody still grow Lucille Ball?
Comments (2)I grew this rose when it first came out in the early 90's. It was a good rose in my garden in terms of both plant and flower characteristics. Jackson and Perkins only sold it for a few years, then it disappeared. The demand for the rose increased after it was pulled. Now, 2 houses later, I found this rose on the Palatine Rose site and ordered it. It is growing well and has bloomed a few times, but the flowers are not a large as I remember; I expect that after 2 or 3 years the size will improve. I am fond of roses of this color and also grow a few others including Just Joey, Brandy, Over the Moon, Abbaye de Cluny, Sunstruck, and Valencia....See MoreLucille....how was your move???
Comments (6)Thank you for asking. The fun lamp project is on hold until I get everything unboxed and set up. I think the older I get, the harder it is to move so I hope to be here for a while. Last time, my son and myself rented a truck and moved my stuff, this time I packed but a moving company moved the stuff. I had researched the company as there are some small local companies with poor reputations but these guys were absolutely great. They even took tender loving care with my plants. Having them move made everything much less stressful. I bought some of those shelf/storage cubes and still have to put them together. Hopefully in another week or so life will return to normal....See MoreLucille, have to say that you were right
Comments (12)I have the time, as well as the great interest (retired RN), to be very tuned in to all the news & discussions that have been out there about the corona virus. There was a lot of conflicting information, as well as downright lies about Covid-19. So I understand how some people were inclined to be dismissive or minimizing of the real gravity on the horizon. High props to Kath for her post. Too many people are still in denial, or have their heads in the sand. I love this from a post^ ...hadn’t heard it before: "When I'm faced with new facts, I change my mind...what do you do?"...See Moredees_1
