Hair scent/freshener (buy or make)
Comments (10)I'm not sure if they still sell it but I know Salon Selectives used to have one, I think it was called Air it out and if I remember right it was a greenish or a blueish color? It probably does have alcohol in it though. I did buy it once and really liked it because it had a nice smell but I don't remember it drying my hair out any because I really didn't need to spray too much on. Just a few squirts and a quick brushing made my hair smell great and I am a smoker so I know how it can get in your hair. Now I just use a few sprays of perfume or some type of body spray or even a leave in conditioner or detangler and brush through if I want to freshen up my hair. Of course nothing freshens hair up like a good shampooing! I shower and wash my hair daily sometimes twice a day (especially in the summer!) so its not too much of a problem for me but sometimes, especially after getting out the car that I or someone was smoking in, I can just tell if someone will be close enough to be smelling my hair I need to do something about it! Sorry I probably wasn't much help! I hope you find something that works well for you and please let me know if you do or if you find the Salon Selectives one it may be worth a try....See MoreWhat do you guys use for removing pet hair?
Comments (11)Box sealing tape is OK but the silver miracle, aka duct tape is far better. Pat with it, don't rub it. And don't pet the cats with it, pat them if yer gonna. I've heard the suggestion to use rubber gloves for furniture and the like, but it seems usually you need to have a firm backing for brushing it off. So put the clothes on and give each other a massage maybe? Or use the tape and play police officer and frisk each other. Duct tape works as an adequate substitute for handcuffs, as I'm sure you well-know. Come to think of it I used to have one of those brushes that you'd brush one direction, then brush in the other direction to empty the brush out. One style had the head of the unit slide back and forth on the handle for left or right hand use, one style was just the head part itself and another was on a pivoting head. It worked well. Wonder where that went? Don't see them for sale anymore but you might find them if you look around....See MoreLadies how mch time do you spend doing your hair and makeup?
Comments (32)I cut my long hair in August, now my hair takes me seconds to do. As for makeup-none on a daily basis. It just rubs off on my surgical mask at work. For a night out, or if I want to impress my makeup takes me 10 minutes but I rarely wear it. I am lucky that at 52 I have good skin. Still nice and tight (on my face that is). My only issue is brown spots from sun exposure while golfing, but that is easily covered. I learned my lesson and religiously wear spf 50 from oil of olay regenerist every day....See MoreWhat do you use to wrap/dry your hair?
Comments (11)sjhockeyfan325, I've never used the waffle weave version, so I can't compare the Lisse Luxe to those. When I got my current towels, I couldn't find the original version in white, just pink or green (in BB&B, where I had been buying them, or even elsewhere online). I called Aquis, and they were just coming out with the new Lisse Luxe, and I was sent a sample. It did seem like it was softer and smoother than the original fabric (from what I remembered--my Aquis towels weren't in the best of shape at that point, and definitely needed to be replaced)....See MoreBunny
