Flowers from the last couple of days

More flowers had their FFOs these last couple of days

Including some of my favorite, like

Seventy Times Seven - usually bleached by camera I somehow managed to get this, FFO

Man of Sorrows, FFO

And next day :)

Incendiary, FFO

No More Tears, now a clump

Soul on Fire, it's so huge so I only got one flower

I am usually so meticulous about liveheading yet this year I noticed a fan right between Soul on Fire and the one next to it, and there's a stepping stone between them too. I thought it was just a stray fan of its neighbor but looks like it's SOF's seedling, looking like its paler version. How did that happen??

Berry Delicious, dropping buds like crazy as usual, but the FFO was surprisingly good

Tatiana, divided it last year so won't be among well budded this year.

Same as Lullaby Baby, which I never ever divided, but it only sent 2 scapes, and it has always been my bud queen or in the first three.

Christopher Moody today

Ruby Spider. Not sure if it's because it is a monster clump (4' wide) or what but the scapes are short (shorter) this year and flowers don't look as good

I'm loving those Emmerich clumps! Man of Sorrows and No More Tears are fantastic! I like the color and form of Seventy Times Seven. Quiet Reflection looks fabulous. It's just the kind of dark purple with a white edge that I like. The Christopher Moody group is quite eye-catching. Just a beautiful post, all around!

yikes Kristy, hope you all dont get it. haaand sanitizer, vitamins, I'm sure you know the drill, lol. Pam, I like the buds more than the flowers, lol. They remind me of moonflowers, how they are all swirly like soft ice cream on a cone. I dont know, I'm weird..my coffee aint workin..what is this decaf????? Seriously tho, I have had that a few years now, the tag said shade so thats where I put it..boy was that tag wrong. Now its in full sun this year and is 3x the size, has bigger flowers, and is blooming its head off! Where as every other year it was far and few between bloom wise, and stayed very small. Theresa, I am so happy with the NBJ this year..non stop blooming..so much for the bloom cycle going with the moon. Mine hasnt stopped since it started last month! Every night is heaven!! DD says she can smell it in her room every night, but for the first time last night as I was laying in my bed I could smell it, and its not real close to the house either. No bud on the lotus yet...I think what I thought was a shaft was just string algae covered in aphids, lmao. Gonna fert again today. I have been putting 4 in at a time since its taking up the whole preform, but maybe thats not enuf? Man I hope the Iochromas and Fuchsias bloom this year! The Iochroma get so bushy so fast, I am constantly plucking leaves off to keep the bottom airy. Thanks Siam! Thank you CB!! geez..I hope its not gangrene! lmao, seriously tho...I really like hostas, I wish I knew the names on all of them. I think I only have names for about 6 of them. Hard to ID the ones I dont know what they are, so many dif ones look so much alike. DO Hostas do well in your area? Thanks carol! Evelyn is quite gorgeous. Austin's do want to get huge here and lots throw out those crazy long canes but I hope to cut them short after each flush next yr to see if it'll help. I do love them. Sorry you have to keep getting rid of them but the HTs are gorgeous too as well as all the others. It's just a beautiful hobby we share!! I love the dahlia too!! Thanks again!!

Mantis, the bud count on PS right now is 10, 12 and looks maybe 15 on the 3rd scape. I just got this plant in the fall, so I don't know if that will be the norm. Debra, so many of mine seem to be confused this year, maybe they are picking that up from me. I have several lates scaping now, right along side some earlies that have not bloomed yet. Not sure just what is going on here. I wanted more late blooming daylilies, guess they want to be contrary. Sherry, I do agree about the yellow, ranks just above orange for me, but the soft yellows do make other colors pop. As for orange, guess what color I have most of! Yep, the dreaded orange. Well. Maybe not as many as i did have.

Thank you, Julia. Actually, Mean Green and most anything with orange does not showup well with the phone and houzz may allow one camera photo in the comments but that is it. I love it and it has done so well here, thank you. And Hot Tamales and REd Hots has bloomed really well this year too. Thank.k you again. I was able to buy quite a few more from Angela Ridders plants since I like Pink Tarantula so much and I have been quite happy with them. Not all of them are unusual forms, but most of them are. kay

Wow Nat, what a show! My favorites are Man of Sorrows and Christopher Moody. Seventy Times Seven sure is a great but underappreciated one.

Wonderful clumps of Man of Sorrows and No More Tears! Quiet Reflection is beautiful. I have always liked Christopher Moody because I think he and Thomas Tew may be siblings and Thomas is certainly one of my favs! lots of very pretty goodies!

Love love love Yesterdays Secret! Does anyone else take a step back every so often and wonder at the beauty that this plant , the daylily , can produce? Each and everyone so different yet so spectacular ?

Man of Sorrows and soul on Fire are my favorites today! It was hard to pick favorites, so many nice blooms today. I like Incendiary, it’s good to see it does well for you, was thinking about adding it at one point.

No More Tears has turned out to be one of my favorite pinks here. Seems to always open well and blooms much longer then just the stats would indicate....Seventy Times Seven is my next favorite. Love the color which is described as "pale apricot, pink, ivory peach". Seems to cover all the bases. Congratulations on catching the color. I can empathize with you trying to get a picture without the sun bleaching the colors out on "film".........Magnificent show on Christopher Moody and I like the lavender color on Katrina Heroes. Hope to see more of it..........Lots of lovelies in this post...........Maryl

Seventy Times Seven is very nice, I like that the flowers don't melt, well like most of yellow selves.

Kate, yes! They could be siblings :)

Sherry, Incendiary is probably the only Maryott (that I have) that does well here.

Seventy Times Seven looks lovely, a nice picture of it. I love Incendiary here too, mine just finished blooming so I can still enjoy your picture! Christopher Moody and Man of Sorrows may be my favorites though
