Horrible quartzite installation

We have had quartzite in several homes and have never had a problem. We chose quartz on the kitchen counters and quartzite for the island slab, called Adamantium. The quartz looks good although they made it 2.5 inches thick and we asked for the counters to be 1.2 - 2 inches and 3 inches on the island. When I questioned that the counters looked too thick, the owner said, "they would not have looked good any smaller" Well, we knew what we wanted...The real issue came the next day when they installed the beautiful quartzite. I have never seen edges look so bad, all along all sides. Our fabricator installer in a different home we had in another state saw the pics and knew immediately what the problem was. Can you see the issue's? When I questioned the owner, he said it was the material, and stone is finicky. I just can't accept this. Would love some advice.

Thank you -
