Garden Chair Repair

Hi I wonder if anyone has any suggestions on what I can use to repair my garden chairs. They’re in good condition and haven’t been used a lot. However one collapsed and I realised it’s because of the screw things breaking off, maybe because of the way I stacked them when storing them in the garage. I then realised 3 of the other chairs have one missing screw thing. Surely I can put something there to make the missing thing secure (arm to chair).. Sorry if not explaining myself very well. Here are some photos, I can reach the chair from underneath. Many thanks in advance for any suggestions 😁

If you recall where you got these chairs, contact them and ask. Another option is call your local home center and ask, or take the chair there.

You'll need a pro to do it right.

If you want suggestions for DIY, that I can do: Glue down or remove any/all the splinters sticking out and repaint them.

I have a rocking chair where the bottom of it broke the pegs out of the legs gave out and the bow snapped off one side of the chair. Can this be repaired? Without taking the entire bottom legs and bow off?

Wood would eventually rot, I'd think. Dremelling a small cement piece into shape sounds feasible, but key is attaching to mouth. A piece of wire seems like it'd last longer than wood. if just for looks, plaster of Paris would be easier to work with. You can get a small kit at a craft shop. Plaster would likely stick to well cleaned cement but I'd still give some thought to using wire. Then paint with acrylic paint to match concrete, also avail @ craft store.

Drill it out and run a smooth head stainless steel bolt through with washers and lock washers. Easy.

Is that vertical framing with the rectangle hole between a pair of two round bolt holes plastic or metal?

Any repair would need to be able to hold the weight of any person or pet sitting on it.

Per "Joseph Corlett, LLC.... if those "bolts" are metal, do "Drill it out and run a smooth head stainless steel bolt through with washers and lock washers".

There could be liability issues if the chair collapsed and someone were to be injured so, if those pieces are plastic and/or you want additional support: ...

IF the vertical frame with the rectangle hole has strength, then you may be able to put use a treated board inserted into that rectangle on each side and then connect the side/arms/legs to each end of that board with screws (through framing if at all possible), adding washers both inside and outside the "fabric" side arms/legs so that outer woven material doesn't tear.
