Is it time to consider replacing historic glazed green tile roof?

This spring, our street had a very narrow band of hail during a storm. Our 1924 Spanish/mission style home had MANY cracked tiles confirmed by drone photos. We received a partial settlement from the insurance but it doesn’t come close to full replacement value. 20 years ago we reset the tiles and replaced the underlayment(?). We can still get vintage tiles at a crazy price. I suppose alternatives include architectural asphalt shingles or new fiberglass tiles, flat or Spanish style. I need to be educated!
