Observations of FLF Repot

So today was the big day of my FLF repot! Back in May I asked for advice and Al was kind enough to provide them. I did everything according to suggestions. Al mentioned putting a wick in the bottom of the pot in a nutshell to deal with perch water. I repotted in fast draining soil (not gritty mix) only for lack of material. I watered throughly. I am amazed at how much water is coming from the pot from the wick. There is probably 1/2 inch to 1 inch of water in the pot underneath the plant. After an hour it is still dripping which tells me my roots in all my plants are staying wet a lot longer than they should. I do tilt the pots after watering to a 45 degree angle one way and than the other to get rid of excess water But now am wondering if that’s enough. I reported the FLF in

a clay pot so I will really had to adjust my watering. From now on when I repot, I will use a wick! Thanks Al!
