1908 Folk Victorian White House in Need of Trim

We have a 1908 Folk Victorian white vinyl house (interior gutted and renovated 10 years ago) that is all white and the trim needs to be painted, mainly the metal siding/flashing at the very top, around the windows and around gutters is dull and looks gray. I'm wondering, do I just paint the trim all white and leave the brown wood door as an accent along with the greenery we have as an accent or do I make the trim gray to match the gray in the foundation? We thought about black trim but we felt the costs would be too high to do things like also replace the gutters and make them black, etc. Our front porch flooring is gray and we'd like to leave the reddish ceramic walkway in the front and red brick wall. We are not going to replace the white vinyl siding. Any suggestions you have would be appreciated.
