Fiddle leaf fig: did I notch deeply enough?

Decided to throw in a few notches on my FLF this weekend. I made parallel cuts about 1/8” apart, about 1/3-half way around the branch. Then I scraped as much of the cambium off as I could. Not sure if the notch is deep enough to get rid of the cambium but I felt like I was scraping wood at the end. I can go back and keep scraping if experienced folks don’t think it’s deep enough.
