My Mother's family lives in NM and I spent many summers as a child visiting. Before she died my Mom gave me this turquoise petit point Thunderbird pin made by the Zuni.

This year's Ride, always held the first Sat in June, has been postponed to August with some major changes.

Riders will be riding solo, unless with a family member or other close friend and no large groups. So no parade of hundreds of motorcycles, no barbecue at the end, the poker run will be small groups.

I won't be riding on a bike, but my g/f is taking her Mustang convertible and said I can ride with her. We'll put our In Memory of our spouses stickers on the windshield.

I've been to New Mexico many times but I don't have photographs of it, except for a very old one that I have not yet scanned, and I don't know where it is.
