It could be some Atriplex as well, which is pretty close related. ( I just did some web search and found several that had similar leaves). Both types indicate ( or prefer) a rather rich and not too dry soil, so could thrive in a veggie pad. Good thing: both are annual plants, so if you just jank them out that should be the end of it. Can't tell what the top is... it looks like some sort of fly pupa. The bottom, on the other hand, are mealybugs that need to be destroyed! Put out some ant bait out while you're at it since they protect the mealies. -Tom ::EDIT:: Yeah, the bottom is cotton cushion scale, oops. Either way, they're bad!

I had a terrible experience with Graff. I purchased their Solar faucet from Amazon and the chrome finish peeled off in less an year. They refused to honor their lifetime warranty on chrome finishes and were extremely rude to me to boot. I contacted Amazon, which in turn called Graff and confirmed that the faucet I purchased was new and genuine. It was shipped and sold by Amazon, not a third party seller from Amazon. Graff still refused to send a replacement handle. I'm including a photo of the defective finish. I highly recommend not purchasing Graff. There are many other high end brands that are happy to honor their warranties and treat customers properly. Graff is not one of those companies. Toto, on the other hand, sent me a brand new showerhead simply because a LED light was malfunctioning and they did not want me to wait for the backordered light. They rock!

Thank you both and happy belated Thanksgiving! Yes I think using the space for living/dining would be ideal. I was debating between a smaller sectional with one edge under the window or a chaise lounge/stool and maybe a love seat and a couple armchairs in the living area Pic #1 and #3 above). Planning to mount my 48" flat screen on the wall adjacent to the window. The one piece of furniture I was planning on keeping was my dining set (pic below) if I can reupholser the microfiber seats since some are a bit stained and make the light wood look good against the wood floor (Pic #2 above). What colors would you suggest painting the walls? Generally prefer light colors like my current house pictured here.
