Who has (or seen) under COUNTER microwave that's not the Drawer
Comments (30)Here you go Tracy.... have been waiting to post pics of our refresh until I get my backsplash installed next week. We were replacing an undercounter Amana from the 80's (also with a drop down doon). The KA fit the old space almost perfectly and the drawer would have required some modification. As a result of this being a retrofit, it's probably and inch or so lower than we would have put it if we had been building from scratch. I've liked having the mw undercounter for all this time.... very few upper cabs and I love the lower location. Always dislike lifting hot things down from eye level when I'm at other's houses! Not sure if you can see, but in the last pics, I tried to show the "cheat sheet" that you can see when the door is ajar that helps you remember how to work the different settings....See MoreSharp Microwave Drawer installation
Comments (8)Hi Joyce 6333... I have the Sharp KB6524PS and the controls are very visible and easy to reach. I apologize, but I'm not set up to share pics yet, so you can't see mine. However, it looks just like the one in the link below (although mine is installed in an island, not along a wall). If you have this model, I'm happy to answer any other Qs you may have. Comments (3)My question is how does Yale know about service issues? After the sale, a consumer would contact the MFG support line and a tech sent out. I doubt they would have anything to do with service. That said, it stands to reason that a microwave drawer would have more reliability issues than a standard microwave. After all, it's opening/closing mechanism involves a motor, gears, and sensors. By sensors I'm talking you just nudge it to close and it'll start closing. It also knows when the door is not fully closed....See More- 3 years agolast modified: 3 years ago
