It's one of the shrub honeysuckles, such as Lonicera tatarica. Deemed invasive in many areas of the US.

I believe it may be Francis William. So hard to tell as they look so much alike, but yes it does get burned at times but it’s also been very dry at the same time. Here they have exploded with all the rain we’ve had...

Linda it is mature, its been there for years. I took a division from it a couple years ago which ended up fizzling out. This is in a tough west facing bed. I’ve noted to move it in the spring. Dj and Ademink, it looks very close to both mentioned (in some pics). Hostas sure are difficult to ID... so many varieties! Here is another one in same bed...tucked away in back corner. This one gets quite large and is lovely, especially when dappled with raindrops ....another no ID lol. I planted these years ago never thinking to save the tags. After visiting this forum, my eyes have really opened up. Hostas now catch my eye. It’s like I never even noticed them before. Since viewing all of your beautiful specimens, I now see the beauty in hostas..... Makes me have shade envy, wishing I had more!
