Comments (4)This is making me just a bit nervous! I have moved all my plants to reasonably safe locations. I have lots of beautiful babies for my butterflies that I have painstakingly grown and tended to this year. Plants that you do not find anywhere local, and some that only have 1 source for them at all. So, I will hope for the best since I've done what I can. I have no shelter near by - or that's what they tell me every time I call to ask for info. They say, "there is none in your location". So, I have plans to use my interior hallway and a mattress, if need be. Hopefully, they will go around me as they have in the past. Y'all take care out there, too! Comments (21)You all are sooooo helpful. Amazon and Netflix want to charge me extra, but I don't wanna pay. :) I did just check the city library and saw that the dvd is waiting to be shelved. I flew over there only to discover our library is closed Sun., Mon. AND Tues. Isn't that sad?? I used to be able to go to our county library as well, which has waaay more selection, but now they charge $80/year, which I won't pay. Sure do miss that library. I guess if/when I finally do get that dvd from the library, I'll watch the whole darn thing. Thanks again for all the good ideas....See MoreWatched "The Voice" for the first time tonight.
Comments (10)I really don't like the first episodes of each season of "AI," where they blend the heartwarming stories and good voices with the ones that are basically used to make fun of (which gets the show big ratings). I watched the first 2 seasons of "The Voice" and really liked it -- it's just that 2 nights of it eats up a lot of my time, even when I just Tivo it... But I saw a clip of Holly Tucker this morning on "Today" with Kathy Lee and Hoda. She sang "To Make You Feel My Love" and I was just blown away. She has the voice quality of Carrie Underwood of "AI," in my opinion. (As an aside, my newspaper ran an article about why "The Voice" hasn't created any breakthrough stars, like "AI" has. I'll add the link if you want to read it.) I might have to jump back on the bandwagon! Here is a link that might be useful: music article...See MoreOutlander
Comments (8)Starz is in our package, but I am not good at remembering to watch particular scheduled times. My life is built more around books than television schedules. As I mentioned earlier I watched the first episode online and tonight I happened to catch episode 3, almost accidentally. Two will have to wait until it comes out on DVD, as I assume it eventually will....See MoreRusty
