Hi Y'all!
Comments (10)Hey Yacht. glad to see you back here. Tho I am exhausted just reading what all has been going on with you this summer taking care of 3 grandkids. Yes I got your email, and once again am far behind in responding to my friends. I am so sorry. I know how super proud you are of Dustin, and all he does with Rick Springfield. Its been great to see pictures and hear him on videos. I never heard of Chicago Cutlery, but sounds its a good thing there isn't one here! I'd stay broke and need another house for storage. LOL. I'm nearly at that point now. I sure hope the hurricane isn't going to affect you guys. Or any of our gang. Sounds so scary. We had the fun (NOT!) of a REALLY record breaking day, 117 here. 13 degrees above normal for Aug. No relief till early next week they say. Thank heavens for air conditioning. hugs, Karen...See MoreHowdy y'all!
Comments (8)hehehe Thanks ALL!! Okay, I grouted the pot. I used coffee mugs and some tea cups for the tulips. I had found a bunch of them in a junk yard place and loved that they were decorative. As for the bench, we moved it - wasn't that difficult which surprised me and YES JANE! hahaha I have all sorts of ideas for the area but you can see that on the GJ side if you're interested. Here's an updated pick of the bench in it's new position. It's supposed to rain and spits every now and again and I don't really want to mosaic the bench if it's going to rain. Guess I can find something to cover it up but I'm being kinda l a z y. hehehe...See MoreHave I got a project for y'all! 80's kitchen remodel HELP needed

Comments (21)Your new bookcase looks very nice! I would move the red chair (that's next to the fireplace) and place it next to the other red chair, across from the fireplace. Then place that small accent table between them. Similar layout to this: Then, remove the round mirror. Place a large piece of art there, centering it between the left edge of the TV and the end of the wall. Then, put the floor lamp to the left of the TV as well, just a few inches from the console. Place a couple taller indoor plants to the right of the TV console. Also, this is very random, but have you thought about shortening the length of your fan's rod extension?? Right now it really drops down into the room and if it was raised it would make your ceilings feel taller/room feel more open. Little details like that make a world of a difference visually. Hope this helps!...See MoreLori Lance
