LG Everest....Help with backsplash!!

I am in the planning stage of a kitchen renovation. Cabinets will be white shaker style and countertop will be quartz. I would like for the backsplash to also be quartz. I think it is easier to clean and the look would remain timeless as opposed to tile. My dilema is that I REALLY like LG Viatera Everest.....but I wonder if it will be too busy if backsplash is also Everest. Minuet could be an alternative as will give it a simple and clean look BUT I already have Rococco in both bathrooms and it would be more if the same (kind of). Thoughts? Any alternative?

Additional info— Kitchen floor is oak color wood......changing the kitchen floor is not an option. Thank you!

If you're concerned about "timeless," white cabinetry is no longer at the peak of trends for kitchens. Many contributors in the Houzz forums will say that white has always and will always be the best choice for kitchens, but the latest movement in kitchen design beginning as of a couple of years ago and continuing strong in 2020 is heading toward more rich colorations in the kitchen based off the trend-forecasting trade shows like KBIS and interior design publications.

I do think the LG Viatera Everest would be a busy pattern for both countertop and backsplash, but what concerns me much more is the lack of any other color in your scheme besides variations of white and gray. Even with an oak floor, this kitchen is shaping up to be lacking color interest. I wouldn't say this if you were already deep into purchasing, but I do encourage you if still in the planning stage to take a look at some of the more rich colorations that are available right now for inspiration. Maria Killam's color blog is helpful, and you can check out recent display features from the KBIS show on Instagram as well as looking at current home design publications. It's darling so far! Can you wait until your counters are in to choose your backsplash? I was tryjng to imagine how white wasn't working but trying to decide on "the" white with only that small countertop sample to check against can't be easy. I also like the defined edge grey crackle mayflowers and mark_rachel posted. Scrolling through Houzz kitchen photos that featured LG Rococo counters, whites and greys were pretty prominent. For example (although this turned out to be a Silestone Lyra counter. I noticed the cabinets colors): If you want to post some samples, we can weigh in if that would help. But colorwise, you sound like you're in the ballpark and just need to keep trying until you find the shade you like.

did you get a quote on painting? prob would be in the 4-5K range for everything (they remove doors/drawers and should take it back to their shop for spraying). with what you want, painting them white or a soft gray will look way better. you also need to replace your bulbs to something less yellow. look for bulbs in the 4000K range. and hopefully you're eliminating that ceiling fan? I'm painting mine next month. he offered to replace all of my doors/drawers with shaker style for 2500 (which is a good price), but mine are shaker w/a little extra routing around the edging so I'm keeping them. Cambria is the most expensive quartz, so keep that in mind. Do NOT get the 4" piece up the back. If you're really on a budget, look into pre fabricated quartz or granite. way cheaper and you have the ideal layout for pre-fabs. they come in 8 or 9' lengths, and islands in 6x4. average price is 400-500 per 9' countertop. (a fabricator is extra to fit it and cut the holes for you sink and such) pre fab quartz^ and quartzite: Taj Majal Quartzite slab both of these are Berwyn. Aria Bellingham

The layout needs some work could you post a to scale floor plan to get that right first/ as for the other choices I do not like the handles IMO they look cheap and have no connection to any of the other choices You need proper lighting and no fan in a kitchen so pot lights or track in LEDs 4000K before making any color choices. Black faucets show every water drop and again not sure whay black. I very raprely like 2 toned kitchens so it would be good to see the space too.
