This is Della...named for Della Street, of course...that wise and ever faithful companion to Perry Mason who always got the job done.
6 years agoDH and I got new to us cars a few years ago..we purposefully chose color that were outside the white/gray/silver/black that is so popular. Finding OURS in the parking lot was a huge goal!! haha

Comments (24)Interesting that there is a "one way" sign with "Spring Street" in L.A., as it is always spring here, at least in my neighborhood, as far as temperatures go. My apple tree keeps its leaves most of the winter, and then they finally fall off during the rains in March. Comments (23)Sorry to read that Annie. Apparently you're not the only one! Do you still have a topics page? Did you press following on kitchen table? That is the other way I get in to kitchen table is I use my topics page. However kitchen table is not on the list. If you are at kitchen table at the top it says follow or following I think that is an ho u z Z construction so you should see it. If you ever have the capability maybe you could try pressing that. In order to find kitchen table when it disappeared for me I had to look on my notifications list or search in Google to find a KT thread. Not fun! It is very disconcerting to see so many people struggling with this.! I Fear GW is being manipulated too much to remain.. We bought a 1964 1/2 Mustang in 1990 - black convertible with red interior and a manual transmission. When my eldest got his driver's license we sold it and bought a new Chevy SUV that actually had safety features like airbags!
6 years agoMy beloved warm-weather car, a 1992 Chevy Caprice. My "cop car." I've been driving it 6 or 7 months out of every year for the past 24 years.
6 years agolast modified: 6 years agoI call this my spy car. It has to be one of the most common cars on the road. Finding it in the parking lot is impossible and I have even tried to get in other people’s cars. I pass myself ten times a day. Every spy should have one since you will never be recognized. Boring as it is, is has been extremely reliable and has a trunk that holds the world. 2010 Honda Accord.
ETA: my cars nickname is Miss Fadass. My ex told a story about a teacher with that name, and they all giggled. This car’s hind end is huge, hence the name.

6 years agoThis is my new to me 2009 VW Passat. I got such a good deal on it about a year and a half ago. I sold my 2008 Honda Civic two door and never looked back. The Passat is such a luxury car to me and I love it. I agree about having a silver car. The previous owner is a Vietnam Vet and has two decals on the rear windshield and I am keeping them, not only to honor him but it does let me know I have the right car! :)
6 years agoThis 1972 Nova SS is what I drove back in the early 80's. It had been hubby's high school car. Originally, it was a brownish/gold color, needed some body work and the upholstery had seen better days. Hubby completely restored it inside and out and spent what was a fortune to us back then on the black paint job. The top was a soft top and was a cream color. The was also replaced with black. It was a beautiful car and fun to drive too.
6 years agolast modified: 6 years agoYou have all met our 1979 Donna Pacer, named after the lady we bought her from in Chicago. All that glass earned the Pacer models the nick name "fishbowl*. Donna had even more glass than the factory models. Her original owner had a sun roof added and a luggage rack too.

6 years agolast modified: 6 years agoThis is ‘Shawty’ (shorty), so named because when I drove it into the garage I realized how much shorter it really was than the previous model I owned. I think around 6 or so inches which is fine as I intentionally downsized when I retired.
