How to coordinate light fixtures/finishes in an open floor plan?

Our dining room and kitchen island are both visible from the front door. I'm struggling with how to coordinate hanging light fixtures/finishes. We have a two story foyer with a black lantern-style chandelier. The dining room chandelier is also black. (I'm attaching pictures of similar styles as well as the pendants I'm considering .) The house is small but open, and kitchen island is close to the dining room. I need two small pendants for the island. My kitchen will be white with subtle brushed nickel hardware and stainless appliances. Should my pendant cords be chrome/nickel to coordinate with the kitchen hardware or black to coordinate with the other hanging light fixtures? Thanks for suggestions!

Pendants I'm considering over kitchen island (not sure which finish to choose):
