Your house is very nice. I think the blue would work. You may want to consider a brighter color for the front door. Maybe a coral color, not sure.

Front doors that POP are all the rage. What color do you like? Gray doesn't seem worth the effort. Whatever color you go with add a second pop of the same in chairs or flower pots on your porch to carry it through. I prefer garage doors to fade away not be a feature but it's your home do what you prefer!

Good point about the garage doors fading away. When I bought my house they were a contrasting color. Once I painted them the same color as the body of the house, the house seemed much larger. Also, the front porch was more prominent. I think if you do this for your house, then your very lovely front porch will become the focal point. Right now, it competes with the garage doors. So i recommend painting the garage doors a color that is very much like your brick and selecting a color for the front door to make it pop.

I would lighten both up and paint some type of white. Also, if you can afford to replace your garage door with one that has lights (windows) in the top portion I would do that. A flat garage door with no openings really deadens a facade. The addition of lights will enliven the facade. Good luck!

I think a creamy beige for garage (with a brown hue) will compliment the roof, brick and front door below (paint trim same color for a more modern look). For added appeal, you could add black hardware on doors, larger lights/address plaque.

I think the porch needs to be lightened up and shade below will also be complimentary to house components. Paint side and window trims for a less patchy look and you could add a black handle and lantern for more impact and to compliment garage.

Function/form..safety dictates your garage doors are fine...windows decreases the safety.

Leave the garage doors alone. The front door needs to be brighter to become the a focal point. Navy or white with navy blue planters would look nice for some color at the front door.
