Hire an electrician, in hindsight, you should not have installed it until the table was in, then you would have had ample wire and chain to swag it over to center.

I was thinking of the chain/swag/hook option too. If you get a table with leaves, you could even have 2 hooks and move the chandelier to suit the table.

It shouldn't be a big job to extend the wiring and chain, then add a sturdy hook or two. (read things like this, or hire an electrician)

If a new length of chain doesn't exactly match the old one or you don't like the look of the new wiring, you could use a cord cover.

I would do a rectangle table. It appears that the chandelier would be over the far end of the table, closest to the wall. I would put something tall on the table at the opposite end to kind of balance things out. I also have an off-centered chandelier and have grown to love it.

I would figure out where I want the table (depending on traffic patterns, centering it might not be ideal) and then move or swag the chandelier as necessary to be centered over the table. I get the impression from the photos that there may be a traffic pathway at the end of the room where the photos were taken (just guessing from where the rug is), and if so centering the light in the room is going to be off balance.

To rewire a chandelier is to start at the hub "not a big deal" if you know what you're doing, "adding wire" is not recommended. Perhaps you saved the extra chain otherwise you can order an exact match from the mfg since you just got it that would be the easy part. Now, I'm not saying it's hard but you do have to know what your doing.. I have 12 years of experience so I know adding mismatched wire with electrical tape is not only against fire code its plain ugly lol.
